That is an interesting look on the man, but what are we looking at here? On this montior the detail of the man's face is lacking and the shadows in the image are overwhelming. Not to mention the strange vertical item which really takes away from the image.

Cropping away some of the sky and the right may help the comp a little and attempt to make the object work for you instead of against you.

Perhaps you could share some more information about this image. For example what is was shot with, etc.

I shot this candid while waiting for a bus. The camera was on my lap. The tall object is a light pole. I wanted the portrait against the clouds.

My camera is Canon A70 with a 21mm equiv aux.
