    decided to go out for a macro shoot yesterday, came across this praying mantis, I dont usually see these guys very often here in Florida, it was a pleasure until he had enough of me and got outta there :mrgreen: its funny how the little "pupils" follow you around even when the head doesnt turn :mrgreen:
    all shot with Canon 40D, Sigma 105mm macro lens, Canon 430ex off camera mounted on a Novoflex flash bracket and then diffused with a Lumiquest softbox

    Very nice - sharp. The one with the clean backgrounds are the better ones.
