i attended a pre war (pre 1939) hill climb a week ago and i've got my pics back so thought i'd share :)

the panning shots were my first attempt too :D

the body of the car in the last pic was built by a plane manufacturer. it was canvas stretched over a timber frame :shock: very cool 8)

ah! t'was at harewood hillclimb, near to harewood house. used to be a bit of a dump but it's a really nice track now. would be super cool to hold a vdub show there. it's a good windey (sp?) track, none of this namby pamby straight line stuff :wink: :lol:
 
that would be seriously cool. if you're really interested then i'll drop the track a line and we can see what's what. they definately let you hold events there as it was the Classic Sports Car Owners Club that organised this event i went to.

would be very cool 8)
 
it was £6 to get in i think but no idea what they charged the racers. most of em were a bunch of toffs though so it prob wouldn't have bothered them either way :wink: :lol:
