    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
My main market for my aviation work has been magazines and their pricing is all over the board and I either agree to their price or don’t. I have set prices for prints that I charge but my work would now like to use some of my scenic images for POP and such. What would more or less be the going rate for stock photography and use of an image? I imagine it would vary if it was for a one time use or unlimited use of the image.

    TIA,

    Eric

Tough one to answer. I'm sure you've heard, "Whatever the market will bear." I certain too that you know some of the "market" are educated, and some are not. The "educated" ones are going to measure in their minds how much time and expense it will take to have an image created for them VS the convienence of using your "ready-to-go" image.

I guess what I'm saying is, so long are you can save them some time and money, they should ante up for your image. If a custom image will cost them $300 to obtain, they will readily pay you $200.

BTW... did you mean to post this in "Portraits"?

    Good luck!
