I always find these comparisons silly.
Yes a pro can do more with less in any environment.
I'm sure a pro indy driver can lap a track in a Ford Fiesta faster than I could in his indy car. The Fiesta is still a piece of ****. The pro driver just drove it better than I could.
Same as Phone vs DSLR. The iPhone isn't as good just because a pro can do great things with it. Anyone who says it is is just plain wrong or stupid.

No reiteration, that would mean I read your post. I was just posting an opinion. Ours just happened to be the same.

I didn't click the OPs link, but as far as the subject. People can pull good shots from mobile phones now days.

It would be like an auto body painter paint 1 car with a $25. spray gun or a carpenter using a $25 power saw, it can work well. For 40 hrs a week ? probably not, 8hrs a week ? probably not. you would be handicapped compared to other professionals.

I have got some nice sunrise pics with point and shoot cameras, just the right lighting, place and time - click.

For those of you who disagree with the video from the OP, you should check out this video.

He explains the context in which the video from the OP was conducted.

See if he'd put that whole 7 minute block into the first video as well then his point would have come across FAR better. Instead he sort of didn't really do much in the first video and its clear that its not intended to be viewed without this companion video.
