Product Photography - take 2

So i tried a reshoot of my product photography from yesterday. this time i figured out how to make my dad's old minolta auto 360 flash work w/ my d5000. so i was able to bounce it off his 40" umbrella. also, before i started shooting, i used a steamer to get the majority of the wrinkles out of the backdrop. so C&C is greatly appreciated!

Background looks much better

The second shot is slightly overexposed or at least too hot on the top..

Try moving the football about 20 degrees, a straight on shot is not very interesting.

And consider a small reflector camera right at the front, it'll bring down the shadow a little. That is if you care
