Title says it all I guess. Looking to read up/follow some modern day photogs using medium format 120 film cameras. I finally got mine and want to learn by following those who are better than me. Also, looking for any tips or podcasts or similar on the subject.

Have a look at the work of Michael Kenna.

Check out his Hokkaido video.

What camera did you get and what do you like to shoot?

I've been using 6x6 since the early 70's professionally, I had an MF camera 1956 but no film :D

Not sure what you'd learn from a Podacst, TLR cameras are so easy to use, just download the manual for the camera,

6x6 isn't the same thing as medium format, or even the same as 120 film..

You can shoot 6x6, 6x4.5, 6x7, and several other sizes with various standard gear on 120 film or 220 film (if you can get the latter). Are you interested specifically in 6x6 format? In 120 film? Or in Medium Format gear?

You forgot 6x9, also classic MF which died out in early 60ties. BTW 4x4 is medium or rather small format ?

6x6 is medium format and the only films now available are 120. Not all Medium formats are 6x6 though as you say, I shoot 645, 6x6, 6x9 & 6x17 and there's also 6x8 and 6x12 all on 120 film.
