Hi Grimmett!
I like it and I don't know exactly why but it has a fascination for me.
Personally I would like to see the face centered more as it's too much to the top left at present but that's a nit pick.
For reference, I don't normally appreciate B&W but this is an exception, good work!

Thanks for the kind words folks. To answer the format question....it's film (I don't shoot digital), Kodak TMAX 3200. I only pushed it to 1600ASA though. I believe it was F3.5 on a 35mm. It's actually cropped quite a lot from the original. It was originally a much wider shot that included three people, and was kinda boring. :? But Emily (that's her name) has an unexplainable quality and she's so beautiful that it's very hard to take a bad picture of her. Here's another of her and another friend of mine.

I have some more from the same night if anyone is interested.
Thanks for looking.

Quick question. Did the photos come up in the forum or did you have to use the link? I've been having a lot of problems trying to get a photo to appear on the forum. Just checking if it worked this time.
Thanks for looking.

hey grimmit! the shadows are what does it for me here. Something about her face and the way her cheeks capture that shadow... awesome!
