I kind of like this, but I would like to know what others think. I'm here to learn so let me have it.

Its actually pretty interesting but a splash of color somewhere might have been nice.

yes... lack of colors.. and if you were closer to the ground, like lying on it and taking this shot from a "Frog" perspective, capturing drops of water would be perfect :)

    frog perspective. LOL

I like it, but it really seems as though it should be the background of something, there's nothing really catching the eye in it. However, I can definately see why you like it.

yeah, i agree with that. couldn't put my figer on it before.
i think it's right on the edge between being a realistic recording and being pure formal abstraction

looking at it is kind of like listening to those tapes of thunderstorms or waves crashing on the beach. there's so much happening in it, but you can't quite put into words what you like about it. it's kind of an environment that you just have to become part of.

it's definitely not the kind of photo that everyone will get the same impression of

Agree with the above. Neat texture there, though!

I like the shot but would have liked a faster shuter speed to stop the water more. I think that better focus would have made up for the lack of color in the shot.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. you guys are right about the lack of colors, it is a little drab isn't it.
