Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Had a couple ebay items sell better than I thought. I have about $150 in paypal and am wondering what I just HAVE to have for my set up!

I have everything listed under "my stuff." I have an extra batter and all, lens hoods for my lenses...but what am I missing? I am leaning towards a macro set up but whats your 2 cents?

idk much about canons speedlights, but i would grab one. They always seem to come in handy.

A polarizer, tripod, angle-adjust flash, remote shutter release. Buy secondhand.

I would say a tripod, if your looking for macro, look for a close up filter set, my 50mm 1.8 with a close up filter set looks pretty nice, for $10 on ebay you can get a IR remote you'll find it handy. As far as filters, I think every photographer should have an ND and a CP filter, A flash is very valuable but you are a little short for the 430ex II which IMO is what you should look at.

Guess I didn't include EVERYTHING I already have...

polarizer filter - check
tripod - check
remote shutter release - check

just don't have the angle adjust flash...will look into it!

Have a tripod. I will look for a close up set and would love to add that to my 50mm. I have the remote already and have a CP filter as well, but definitely want a ND filter.

So right now, my options are:
macro set
ND Filter
and flash

I wonder if ebay would be kind to me and get all three for $100?!

Really into macro work? Ring flash would be good, but it's very specific to macro work, so it wouldn't be much use for other work. Some portrait and fashion photgraphers utilize them as well, some people like them and some hate them.

Yeah, I have looked into them but don't have a use for them enough to rationalize getting one. I Will be doing some portrait work, but just your basic youth sports stuff.

Yeah, stick with a speedlite 430exII then

I would save the money till YOU know what you NEED.
Then it is money well spent.

Shoot until you find your limitations. Go from there.

good point. I really don't know what I need just yet. I have a strobelight kit for my portraits (when I have a power source) so in that case I should be good.

I think I'll just let that paypal $ sit there for a while :)
