I've found that the less I read/learn about internet popular photographers the better off I am.

If it is an old point and, shoot, I don't think I'm too interested in the guy. The whole thing comes across as a bit tacky.

The reason I was curious is because his articles are usually NOT like this.

As far as camera and lens reviews go, he's the best source I know on the internet.
