    I'm finding all kinds of things on my daily roll thru the 'hood.

    This is a nest of quail eggs that had been disturbed

    Thanks. This first one is my favorite. I hope the mom came back to protect her eggs.

    Interesting to see how many eggs there are...I had no idea there'd be so many.

    Last year I had a nest of 20 eggs! They are so cute when they are first born.

    Those eggs cannot be called "ovular shape"! They are surprisingly ROUND, as is so nicely shown in the first photo.

    Like Parkerman, though, I am also glad you added the second to give it all a bit more context. Helps understand the first.

    Very round eggs. I feel for her.

    The second one is a nice compliment. I like the lantana (?) on the right.
