question for DSC-F828 owners

does this camera have a black and white option on it? I see online that it has a sepia option, but it doesn't say anything about black and white. I have a sony DSC-P52 that offers both. Surely the 828 does too?

Unfortunatly, no.

The last F--- camera that Sony made with the Black and White function was the F505v, which was made in 1999. The next model that they made, the F707, did NOT have it, because Sony decided that it wasn't popular.

From what I understand an B&W option on a digital camera isn't really needed anyway. You can just desaturate with post editing and get the same result.
