How much do you charge for a company logo? I have been given a job offer but I have to "pick a fair price" as he said. And I don't want to over or undercharge.

    Charge by the hour.
If you give a set price, they will be back for changes until you are too hold to hold a mouse.

It is really about how much effort you are going to put into this. Creating a logo is much more than just going to photoshop and whipping something up. It requires a lot of research and a lot of sketching. Normally, you would set a flat rate but in your contract you would stipulate that all changes would cost more. There are a lot of other aspects to take into consideration as well. If you are really interested in logo design, you may want to check out http://www.aiga.org. They are the governing body for design in general. They have a contract drafted up that covers pretty much everything.
