question on filters

    im looking for some quality filters yet a god bang for my buck. im just starting out so i dont need the best of the best but would still like something that will work well. im looking for all different kinds so please help me out.

    Polarizing filters are one of the most common and useful, if you're looking for suggestions as to what filters to get.

    star filters, uv, sky, split field, rainbow, dual image and some other fun stuff to try out. if any of you have some for sale then lets hear a bargain :)

    Being that you have just "started out", I suggest you forget the filters (C. polarizer aside), and buy some books like "Understanding Exposure", books that are geared towards image composition, and something on basic post processing. They will take you farther than any "star" or "rainbow" filter ever will.

    ive got books on many things. im wanting to experiment with different types of filters and see what i like. ive got the basic knowledge down so im looking to try different things. i appreciate the concern but im sure about this.
