Those of you who would consider your profession to be a photographer and derive at least 51% of your income from photography, I would greatly appreciate a few quick responses.
(1) First, how do you promote yourself? By that, I'm not asking how you attract business, rather what do promote your "specialty" to be. Do you promote yourself as exclusively a wedding photog, a portrait photog, commecial, fashion, free lance, etc.
(2) How is your overall income portioned? What percent comes from weddings? How much from family portraits? Senior Portraits? Engagement/bridal? Special events? Etc. E.g.
40% Weddings
20% Engagement
10% Bridal
25% Senior
5% other
(3) Where would you rank your income bracket from photography?
Under 50K? 50-75K? 75-125K? 125K+?
(4) Finally, how long have you done this as your primary profession.
Just curious. Thanks for the feedback
