Quick outdoor portrait help!

Ok so my girlfriends mom wants me to do her senior pictures. I agreed to it.. but unfortunetly didn't take the time to figure out what I'm doing. Any quick tips? I'll be shooting with my SLR and probally a manual point and shoot digital just to check exposure. But anyways. Some advice would be nice right now, haha thanks.

Bring a reflector, and be prepared to possibly use fill flash if needed to eliminate shadows. Hope for good weather

Well it's today, nice sunny weather outside. I forgot about sun posistion though, I wanted it over my shoulders, but it's 10:30 now, so I'll see what I get. I'm gunna run by my work and ask my boss if I can borrow his 20D and one of the 430ex flashes from the case. And if the outside shots fail, I'll just go back to work and use the indoor studio and lighting. Man I love working at a photography store!
