Hiya all,
I need to take some pictures of my work colleagues today to feature in a magazine... can you think of anything i need to keep in mind when taking the pics? Some are going to be inside but some outside too... I have a canon eos 1000fn with built in flash and a 28-200 lens with 1a filter.
ANY tips will be much appreciated :D

Don't go below 50mm unless you absolutely have to, or the distortion serves some purpose.

Since they aren't models, go for candids instead of cheesey posed smiles.

Built-in flash will suckk as a main light. See if you can rent/borrow a flash that you can hold away from the camera or rent/borrow a 50mm or 85mm prime lens that will open up to f1.8 so you can shoot without it. Or use the zoom in well lit areas. Make sure you use correct film for outdoor if you use flash or indoor if you use the ceiling lights, or just use b&w so you don't have to worry about it.

Shoot lots of film.
