Is there such a thing as a quick release for your camera strap?I would like to be able to remove the strap when I dont need it without having to re-thread the buckle every time.

I have the pro strap listed above on 3 cameras, with another on order Very satisfactory and comfortable and quickly removable for use on the tripod.

  6. I have two Op-Tech straps (one of them the TPF edition) and I don't know how I ever lived without them.

I shoot dirt bike races. I always remove my strap; one, because it gets in the way when I am shooot portriat mode and two, I'm worried about getting snagged by a motorcycle going 30 mph. I like to get up close. Just make sure you keep track of it they are easy to loose.
