What do you think? The above images were of contractors working on a railroad crossing. They were using thermite to weld the rail.

I like the third one a lot. The fire kind of looks like liquid pouring out of a thermus.

However, the first seems to be WAY out of focus. I'm not really sure what the focus was on...maybe...the railroad tracks? I'm not sure.

That's my only 'beef' with this set of photos though.

Yea, If I remember right, I had the focus set to the rail head. I either needed to focus on his eye, his hand, or use a smaller aperture
