Hi and welcome to the forum.

Some general advice for posting: put some space between each pic, it makes them more enjoyable and avoids confusion. Number your pics, it makes it easier to comment on them. :D

Now about the pics and this is of course MHO:
The first one is interesting and the color complement is attractive, but I fail to see a subject matter... and it is not abstract enough... so I don't really no what to see in it.

The second one has a nice point of view (POV) but the sand in the foreground has no shape, reducing it's effectiveness. Maybe if there was some interesting shape, the pic would improve.

3rd one: She is hot. Other than that I'm lousy at portraits.

4: I like the composition... makes me think and invent a story, always a good thing in a pic for me.

oh, well then i should go fix that :p
thanks for the advice and stuff about the pictures,
and the compliment which happens to be a self portrait

i agree on the second one completely, but my lousy camera
made it turn out that way so all i could do was sharpen what
was already in focus :/ but it could help with future photo's

    i appreciate your reply!

Oh is it? Well, I'm really blushing now :blushing: . That should have read "She is really good looking"

Please post more pics? (If they are more self portraits, better :p)

haha number four was taken VERY quickly! it was outside some place that we were walking down the street from, and i was afraid the men would come out......maybe if the image was larger? or it may just be awful overall
