    Yes, I share Railman's view on your pics. If you call that "just learning" I must say you are on a very, very good path.
    But your first ones make me freeze even in a well heated room. Brrrr! Where is that? How cold must it be for freezing such rushing water (PBailey has shot similar photos of a frozen cascade - I have never seen such a thing with my own eyes and wouldn't know if my body could stand the surroundings where such thing can happen).

    It is the american side of Lake Ontario. I believe PBailey is taking pictures of the same lake but on the canadian side.
