Whoa. The colour. And the size of that field! :shock: Wow. Wonderful!
You cannot have taken the photo recently, though, now can you? I mean I have detected rape in bloom in November, too. But usually you see this sight in May. And I plan on going towards Schleswig-Holstein this year in May to photograph the really large rape fields then!

What is a letterbox crop?

Rape fields and blue skies ... do really compliment each other. In every aspect!

great colors. too bad the main subject in the picture doesnt really pop out enough. if you could darken the trees in the back, you might be able to get some good contrast and have the main tree stand out a little more.

I absolutely love the look of rapeseed fields! Especially when juxtaposed against a brilliant blue sky. Although a letterbox crop would eliminate a bunch of that lovely yellow, I think it would work.
