raw/ in photoshop

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos OK to edit
    below is a question posted a week ago on another forum by a member who has not had a reply. i dont know what camera they use but wondered if anyone could help them out with info here?

    Every camera that can shoot RAW, comes with software to open/convert those files to a standard image type like TIFF or JPEG etc.

    Adobe products need to be updated for each new camera. The part that needs to be upgraded is Adobe Camera RAW. If available, the updates are found on the Adobe web site.

    Thanks heaps Big Mike, I looked on their sie and did find updates, however, you did mention "if available" and I just cant seem to find a update for elements 5. Other raw converter updates are available but from what I can see he would need to upgrade to elements 6?
