Ready for a good piece of glass. Need opinions.

I currently have a D-80, a Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.5, and a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8. I am thinking about selling my lenses and stepping up to a Nikon lens. The 17-70 is way wider than I need, and I dont really need the 200 on the high end. I need a good all around lens, because I havent been at this long enough to know what I really want out of a lens. I have a good Idea, but I want some opinions. As far as what I'm shooting, it depends on the day. I'm still in full-on learning mode.

Would the $200 AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G or the $320 AF 50mm f/1.4D appeal to you?

How about the Nikon DX 18x105mm, it was a kit lens with my D90 and I love it. It takes great sharp and crisp images.

If you don't need wide (17mm) or long (200mm) 3 primes would be nice: 28mm or 35mm, 50mm and 105mm. Another option is a 35-70 f2.8 D - very reasonably priced pro quality Nikon lens. Used to be THE middle zoom but has been upstaged by 28-70 and more recently by the 24-70.
