    Hello all,

    I signed up on this forum the first day i bought my cam, a sony. I've been taking pics here and there, i'd like to know what you all think. Here goes.

    Wonderful start.... good eye...

    A little adjustment in levels, curves and white balance would improve them a little. I like the 1st trainyard photo.

    But

    This all belongs in General Gallery and it is nice to number them too... so people can refer their comments to a specific photo.

    yeah these are unedited, i gotta try and tinker in PS. i'll number them now too. Can a mod move this?

    Nice stuff but I really have to recommend that you get a tripod, especially for the night shots. They are a little blurry most likely due to camera shake.

    Yep, there are some of us who perform such services. For new members, the first one is free - we charge full rate for the next one though... :wink:

    I like #9. Great job especially if it is straight out of the cam. With the way the track splits & heads to the left it speaks a story of trying to stay on course and not taking a turn in life.

    thanks a lot for the feedback everyone, this is like my fifth day doing photography, lol. i shoot primarily on manual settings, don't like the auto much....i gotta brush up on PS editing, and thanks for that rule of thirds link! I'm gonna read up on those. I'm really leaning towards the H7 now, take back my H3....(still in the window) I'm comparing them right now.
