recent still life

here is a recent still life i did, just the back porch, nothing special . . . or is it? 1

i think maybe it is special, to me anyways.

I LIKE the COLOR but this photo doesn't do much for me........sorry.

junk, o well, they can't all be good . . . btw this is a version of the color infra red from a black and white image so it was just that yellow-orange i liked, instead of the actual color infra red

This looks like a photo of something (admittedly nice) standing on your verandah/balcony/deck/porch in the deep glow of a setting sun. Nothing indicates this is an IR photo.
You know the entire context this subject of your still life is in. That may account for why this photo is special to you.
Or the fact that it is an IR photo.
But that does not transpire, I'm afraid...

I like the warm tone of the photo. It does make it more than what it is.
It isn't crap on a doilie, but you've posted stronger work.

I'd hang it on my wall.

The light and warmth are great. It's not terribly exciting, but it's a pleasing image!
