I think the first one would work good if you cropped in on the wagon...to see the boy's expression!

The expression on #2 is priceless.

#2 & 3's backgrounds are a tad distracting, but overall the kids and "poses" work nice.

#5 is my fav of the bunch. I like when the child is absorbed in something like that.

Terri:

I think your photos would improve by zeroing in
on your subject more. The wagon pic, I would
have just shown a bit of it, just showing the
words 'radio flyer' and perhaps a bit of the wheels.
In other words, just enough so the viewer
knows it's a wagon. (oh, sorry, I went back to
look at the wagon pic (#4) and realized you wanted
both kids in the photo.)

It seems that you're not shooting wide open. I
would shoot at maximum aperture to blur out
the background. If you had a f2.8 lens, I think
it would make quite a difference. Or f1.8!

Also, what about some face only shots, but
use a telephoto so as not to distort anything,
and some shots late in the day to get some
interesting light. Maybe have your subjects
backlit and use fill flash?

Tell me what you think.

I agree with the others about the backgrounds - a couple are alright, but in general it's distracting. Overall, though, very nice!!
