I have a gift card to Barnes and Noble. I don't really read fiction so I figured some books on photography stuff would be good.

fwiw I have an SX10is which is being replaced by a D5000 with the 18-55 on Wednesday. I shoot mostly nature/scenery and I like trying to take pictures of watches.

I know how to work manual mode on my camera(and typically do so) but from there not a ton.

If there aren't any books that have lots of info that I can't get from the internet then that's okay too.

Thanks!

Scott Kelbey has 3 books in a series on photography. I've got 2 of them, and enjoyed reading them. Also a highly recommended read is Understanding Exposure. Author eludes me at the moment.
