I am currently looking for a couple of lenses for my Sony a200, specifically a zoom lens and a macro lens.

I have narrowed my choices down to two for a zoom lens- either a Sony 75-300mm AF 1:4.5-5.6, 1.5m/4.9ft Macro, or a Minolta 75-300mm AF lens, 1:45-5.6. They are both very close in price.

I have not decided yet if I want a dedicated Macro lens, or just an attachment for the end of my lens. What would make a good macro lens for the a200?

Neither of those are macro lenses. The term "macro", in this respect, refers to the minimum focusing distance of a given lens.

I know that the two lenses I listed aren't Macro, I am looking for a Macro lens as well. The two that I listed are zoom lenses.
