I was surprised find that Nikon doesn't make an adapter or charger setup for the car. What's the best way to go. I assume that a 12V to 110VAC inverter could be used but it seems like a lot of stuff to carry around. What are you folks using?

I have an inverter that I use on road trips where a charger is necessary. Usually two batteries using the vertical grip lasts me long enough to get to a hotel or some such for charging. The charger doesn't draw a lot so you don't need a massive inverter.

Some 12V to 110V inverts are pretty small, I don't know how good they are, but certainly small enough to just keep it in the vehicle at all times.

Oh lmao, I didn't even notice! Oh well, it's early my brain isn't working. Only half way through my cup of coffee.

I've done it, too.

The humanity of it all.
