I just bought a Yashica TLR which shoots 120 3x6 medium format photographs. I have been shooting 35mm for the last few years, and have decided to step up. I own a Plustek scanner that scans 35mm negatives at up to 7200dpi. The labs near me do really poor quality scans, so if I take my 120 film there then it will end up looking worse than my 35mm scans I do at home, so I was wondering whether anyone has any suggestions for medium format scanners, that do the best job for the money, I would preferably like to spend no more than £300 at the most.

Thank You

Epson and Canon both make good negative flat-bed scanners in that price range.

I've been using my Canon CanoScan 8800F for years without a problem, and with very good results.

I own a cheap flatbed that I wouldn't recommend, but it seems like the Epson V700 is the most recommended medium cost scanner (within your budget). If I was going to upgrade I'd get that or cheap out and get the V600.
