red river is pretty poor quality. I have a booklet I created using about 6 or 7 different companies papers including their gloss and matte papers printed from canon pro 1 and an epson 7800

look into epson, hahnemuhle and harmen

I've used Red River papers.
I've used them on Canon Pro 9000 mkII printers and Epson printers.
Not used Red River's download profiles. I made my own.

Got reasonable results from what I understood was budget paper. I credit X-Rite Color Munki Photo's ICC profiles.

Heard of it, never tried it. Have gotten the Harman/Hahnemuhle sample packs to try out papers and then got which I liked best. Also like some of the Kodak and Ilford glossy. I looked at the profiles and found they were pretty much the way I had it set anyway.
