Red sky in the ???

I was walking home from college when I looked to my left, And there was an amazing underlit red clouds placed infront of a navy blue sky, My main objective was to try create distortion by using the Ultra-wide angle side of my 18-55mm lens (as you see it failed) hoever I liked the silhouette of the weed, but! the sky was unfrotunately fairly dull in the image (look at second image, that is the original) But my college is also doing a calender which they want us to submit some work into it. I was considering this possibly.

So what is this red sky in the afternoon?

the shot looks really noisy to me uuliam... doesn't look like it was exposed very well...

i also find the border vegetation to be a little distracting...
