Red Spotted Salamanders

Spring is slowly moving along. I was down at a local lake this afternoon and noticed a number of Red Spotted Newt adults moving around in the murky, shallow water. People are more familiar with the bright orange landbased version they become briefly before returning to the water as adults. The water was cloudy and murky, so these shots are the best I could do. On a calm day it will be easier.
