Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
When altering curves, levels, contrast and other tweaks in PS I get the haloing effect, for example on the tops of trees sticking up into the sky. What is the best way to avoid this other than too much processing?

Can you post an example? I'm having difficulty picturing what you're describing when only making basic tweaks like curves, levels and contrast.

I have just replaced the one I had on Flickr with a slightly less processed and much reduced halo effect. I was also following a tutorial in a book regarding lasso tool for sky area and altering levels but again, this gave a halo effect on where the sky met the land. I have no uploaded pics to link to at the moment to show an example............

Then it's quite possible the haloing was caused by the lasso tool settings for edge definition/feathering.
