Reflections

My buddy and I have started a weekly contest of sorts in which we pick a random topic or theme for a photograph much like the monthly challenge here. The topic this week was "Reflections" and I came up with this for my submission. Thought I'd post it here for some comments and critique. It wasn't precisely what I had in my head, but close. When I took them, I wasn't sure if it was better to keep the focus on my wife and daughter or their reflection. In the end, I think having a sharper focus on the reflections seems the logical choice now.

Awww that is so precious! yes, I agree -- the focus on the mirror image does seem to work better. However, I really like the vertical crop of the second one better than the landscape of the first.
