Does anyone know about B&H photo?? It's a website that sells used cameras
I’ve bought three refurbished cameras and two lenses from them and Adarama happy with my orders
Which camera are you looking to purchase

I assure you that the vast majority of the people here have bought from both B&H and Adorama. Many of us many times over the years. Both are first-class companies.
B&H and Adorama are good for prices and service. And buying refurbished saves money and you also get the regular warranty
Don't forget about refurbished from actual manufacturer's
B&H is probably the largest mail order camera dealer in the world. They have been around for decades and run a very professional operation. Good luck with the new camera.
I have read good things about that site...as you can already tell, there are more than enough fans of it on this forum. As jcdeboever had mentioned, you can buy refurbished direct from manufacturers as well. You will often receive some type of warranty and/or return policy, and you can find some great deals if you're shopping in the right place at the right time. I am actually waiting to receive my refurbished camera from Canon. I was able to purchase that for $220 off of the usual (already discounted) refurbished price; I got a great deal as long as the camera shows up in one piece.
Not in most cases you don't.
The regular warranty is for at least a year
Most camera makers give a 90 day warranty with their refurbished gear.
Sellers like B&H and Adorama then add their own warranty for 9 more months to make a 1 year warranty.
If you need warranty service in the 1st 90 days you send the camera to the camera maker.
After the 90 days is up you send the camera to the seller. The seller arranges for and pays to have the camera repaired.
Canon offers a one year warranty on refurbished
"All refurbished products come with a 1-Year Refurbished Limited Warranty. Products that are refurbished must pass a comprehensive quality assurance inspection before final packaging and shipment. Additionally, all refurbished products provide a cost savings as compared to our price for that product when new"
OK. I've crossed Canon off my list of 90 day refurb warranty providers, which is in part why I said "Not in most cases . . "
Frankly, I have no idea about the refurbished products but I would say when you buy them look for the warranty and other details as they will help you.
Bought Couple of lenses from B&H photo. Worked pretty well for me.
