    If you're willing to put your multi hundred dollar piece of equipment on a 11 dollar tripod from china be my guest. Generally it's you get what you pay for.

    Even the picture makes it look flimsy id steer clear

    If you are looking for a cheap tripod I got this one a few weeks ago and its actually pretty nice for the price. Its a lot more sturdy then I was expecting it to be. I eventually want to spend some money and get a nice one though, just got this to hold me off for a while.

    Its about 24 inches long when packed up.

    if you're gunna get a tripod get one with a ball head so much easier

    The cheap Chinese 'pod referred to in the OP is four feet two inches tall!!! It wouldn't even make a light stand--more like a backlight stand.
