Even the picture makes it look flimsy id steer clear

If you are looking for a cheap tripod I got this one a few weeks ago and its actually pretty nice for the price. Its a lot more sturdy then I was expecting it to be. I eventually want to spend some money and get a nice one though, just got this to hold me off for a while.

if you're gunna get a tripod get one with a ball head so much easier

The cheap Chinese 'pod referred to in the OP is four feet two inches tall!!! It wouldn't even make a light stand--more like a backlight stand.

NP it has good reviews on amazon as well so it probably last pretty good. I think its a solid purchase for $50 if you cant afford to drop $200 on a tripod
