Requesting Critique for newb

Hey everyone, I'm new to all of this and I've been watching this forum for several months. I've learned a great deal from reading the questions posted here. Now it's time for the test.
Please critique the following 4 pics for technical things, but after that would step back and ignore the technical stuff and just ask "are they interesting to look at"? I've noticed on many pictures here in the beginners section two things, some are technically flawless but uninteresting to look at while others are technically flawed but the picture grabs and holds your attention.

I'm new here but;
If #1 was a portrait of me, I would be very happy with.
I think the rest are very interesting and I love the colors 2 and 4
