Has anyone used this website? Was it worth it? Thoughts about it in general?
Thanks in advance
I'm resurrecting this thread because I think I'm going to test it out for a little while as I think I'm ready to try a little something more than just word of mouth...
Anyone here use them? Or have used this website???
I used Respond.com for about a year. (I stopped about a year ago.) I used the minimum budget, I think it was $50/month.
I really liked the services. I made sure to make at least 3 contacts with each lead I would receive. I schedule probably 3 wedding interviews a month. And booked about 1 month, from their leads.
The only reason that I stopped, is because I decided to focus my advertising $$ toward "The Perfect Wedding Guide".
I have found the results to pretty much be the same, but once I can afford to do both, I plan on rejoining Respond.com.
Another website that I had decent luck with was www.allweddingcompanies.com
Thanks for responding Rachylynn. I have a meeting for a possible wedding client at the beginning of January and that in and of itself is good because I have a pretty good record once I can get a meeting to take place.
Thanks for the tips on your other advertising methods as well.
Respond is the only place I advertised the first year and it worked like gangbusters.
It's price oriented though, so once you start asking over a certain dollar value, it doesn't work as well as other places.
Set your price high enough that you aren't bombarded by "looky loos", but not so high that you are totally out of range either.
Let me know how it works out for you
Respond can work. You have to be willing to call each lead. We have used it and got great return on it. I agree... once you get over a certain price range with your service you get people who really aren't that interested but will give false leads.
This is great info. I had started to sign up but wasn't sure if it really works. It sounds like it would work for me. Thanks you guys for the great info.
