    Hi,

I have been experimenting for quite a while to get that 60's and 70's look.

Here are a couple examples of my best efforts so far and I would like to know if you think they have the look or if you think I need to go back to the drawing board?

I'm looking forward to your input.

    Thanks,

Well, my colour prints taken in the Seventies are all RED today. All of them. I don't know what it was, maybe they started using a new fixers or what, but all the prints have a very red hue these days.
Colour pics in the sixties were primarily slides, from what I know. In all my dad's pics taken in the sixties, I am little :greenpbl:

I dont know if they look the way you wanted them to but I love them. I like the expressions on both kids faces.

    Both kids????

The female is actually my wife. I'll be sure to tell her you thought she was a kid. She'll like that.

    Thanks,
    Mike V

Wife? What's the legal age of consent in your parts?;)

I don't know if these photos have a real sixties look to them. Maybe a little bit of an eighties look. I like images that experiment with color, and these ones definitely have a certain ambiance about them. But it's like Lafoto said, when I think of sixties pictures, I think red. I've seen people achieve similiar looks today using warming filters, which cast an orangish color over everything. The filters come with varying degrees of color, but I'm sure it would be easier to achieve with ps. (It also looks a lot nicer than it probably sounds.)

    She is 29.

She is flattered by your comments.

The boy is our son and he is 10.

    Thanks,
