Reverse Lens macroing question

It's possible from an optics point of view; whether they make one or not is another matter. I'm sure that at some point someone made one for Minolta, so if there isn't one in current production you'll likely be able to find a used one. I don't recommend these for a couple of reasons: One is that they threaded portion on the front of your lens is meant to support filters, NOT the weight of th entire lens, so you have to be very, very careful moving it around when attached. The other is that you now have the 'internal' end of the lens exposed which has openings for dust and grit to get into the internal mechanism as well as leaving all your electrical and mechanical contacts exposed and subject to damage.

Yeah it is increadibly risky but I love how it looks. Its a bad addiction lol. Anyway I actually figured out how to do it this morning. There was a little toggle on the side of the lens to manually open the shutter. Definitely not the best thing for my camera, but its so pretty!
