I am having a little trouble figuring out how to make a mount so I can shoot reverse macro. I have one idea. One is to take a unused body cap and cut out the middle and glue on a old filter (minus the glass) to the the front of the body cap. Any other ideas? the camera I'm using is in my sig

What I do, is reverse mount one lens onto the front of another. You can find cheap adaptors for this on E-bay. They are just a metal ring with filter threads on both sides.

or just buy a reversing ring, Minolta mount.
I'm not familiar with anything minolta, but theres a few rings there on Ebay.
Just make sure you buy one with the threaded side the same size as the filter thread on the lens you want to use.
That 50 ought to be ok, could get close to 1/1 mag with that.
Rings are pretty cheap and better than messing with tape, ceiling wax and your aunties knicker elastic...
I mounted a reverse 50 on the end of an 80-200 with knicker elastic once, the mag was massive but distortion/barrel roll was bonkers.
