Right time of day to shoot?

What would you say would be the right time of day to get great shots.?

What kind of shots? Every time of day is right for some kind of shot.

depends on what your shooting, the two defaults are sunrise and sunset.

My magic hour (like a lot of people) is just after sunset. There's still day-light in the sky and bouncing off the walls and faces, but artificial light is visible and creating great effects.
