Just a reminder for all Classical music/Wagner/Opera fans.
BBC Radio 3 is broadcasting the whole Ring cycle in a day on Monday.
You can listen on-line using the BBC radio player (link top right of page)

    Enjoy.

That is just too cool - the entire Ring! Wow! (It may account for a little bit of Wagner-overload, but it is certainly worth the while to go in and out of their programme at intervals!) Thanks for the hint and link!!!

    No more Wagner fans?
I do hope you don't prefer Country & Western.

There was an article in the Guardian about it. The writer did a dry run, listening to the Cycle on CD. I only skimmed it, but I got the impression that by the end she needed medical assistance, and possibly psychiatric care.

It's a long, long thing, isn't it? Radio 3 is a marvellous institution and they are welcome to their share of my licence fee, but you have to wonder how big the audience is going to be, and what percentage of them will hear the whole thing.

I'd love to do that, but I don't think I could stand the internet quality audio, I'll use my recordings ;)

It is awesome that they's do that though, it's a lot of Wagner, and I don't mind at all!
