i just started getting into photography this summer, i just got a fujifilm finepix s1500 a couple weeks ago. these photos are from my evening in the city. comments would be appreciated

#1 I've seen this pic done over and over again
#2 I really like this pic. One question though, did you put in the 2nd building after the fact ? Reason I ask is the
line of the building seems odd and there's a blackish looking smudge.

#4 I don't like it, looks flat
#5 I like, the reason being is the setting sun is accentuated in the glass, just looks more lively.

1. My problem with this shot is that I feel I'm not seeing the entire building. Most shots of this nature are doen with a single structure and siplay the entire building at an upward angle against the sky.

2. Seems flat, and the beam across the top left is a real distraction. This shot also appears to be out of focus.

3. I'd like this image if the top was cropped at the bottom of the large pipe and if the bottom portion was cropped just below the shadow.

4. Is too dark and looks out of focus.

5. I'm not sure - something just feels off with the over all focus and the center of the image is underexposed.
