Rock on the Beach

This is a picture I took of a rock on a beach around the Boston, Mass. area. At the time the sun was setting, but was still at little bit too high and the reflection off the rock was terrible and I couldn't really adjust enough for that on the Fuji 3800 I had at the time. I ended up taking this picture thought the lense of my sunglasses :blushing:

Great shot, especially considering the dodgy technique!!

I think it might be even stronger cropped to square, partly removing the shadow in the bottom RHS?

Well done! Creative answer to the exposure deal. "Making do with what you have" is important in our photo journey. I would add a touch of contrast and colour separation.
 
Excellent, I am gonna have to remember that little technique in the future. I like the light contrast with the shadowing at the bottom. Works well.
