rocks and water

Here is the first picture I wanted to show you to get some feedback.

About the composition: I wanted to make a difference between the foreground (waves, foam, rocks) and the background more peaceful.

It's was around 10:00am, the light was pretty hard when I took this picture. I put 3 ND filters (2 - 4 and 8!!!! I didn't have anything else that day) to increase the time of exposition up to 1 sec. I merged 2 pictures to get the waves I wanted and the "right" contraste.
For the treatment: merge 2 pictures and adjustment of lumonistiy and contraste under LR and CC

I actually like this picture quite a bit. The only thing that stands out to me is that pipe looking object in the upper right. My eyes were immediately drawn to that first.

It's a post with a bird on it. I did a first shoot without the post inside the frame and I thought something was missing in the top of the picture. So I moved a little bit to include this stuff. Perhaps it was a bad idea. I can remove it with photoshop, shouldn't be too hard.
