Rollei repair/CLA

No

Ksmattfish recommend http://www.camerarepair.com, they currently have my 127 Baby Rollei. Hope to get it back in a few weeks.

Their web site look nice, but only works OK. When I called to give them my credit card number had to repeat it three times

Thanks Jeff, I knew Matt had mentioned one and wondered if that was it.... :D Hope they do the baby up right!

Fleenor is the big name in Rollei repairs in the USA, but due to his popularity it costs more and takes longer.

www.camerarepair.com repaired my Rollie very quickly.

I've talked to Harry several times when I first got my Rollei. Matt is right, he is expensive and it will take along time but he really knows what he's doing.
Also...I've heard that KEH does a really good job too and they are reasonably priced...here's the link to those guys...

Good Luck!

Holy crap! Never even thought about KEH for repairs. They're right here in town, and I've always wanted an excuse to go in there.... Thanks, mygrain!!

I appreciate these other links, I'm going to check them all out. The Rollei is way overdue for cla, and that's just not right.

My camera should be delivered this Friday. I shipped it to http://www.camerarepair.com the Monday before Christmas. That pretty fast IMO

I also have 2 lenses that need work. That I may or may not send them :?:

One is a 14mm FD Sigma that the aperture sticks open, Likely a spring. I think they should be able to handle that. :? But the other is 28-70 EOS Sigma the focusing ring gear is striped and does not work in ether AF of MF

Cool; I'll be interested in hearing what you think of their work, Jeff. Sorry about the lens trauma. :(

Doxx: thanks! :D

Terri

Got my Baby Rollei back last Friday.
After shooting three roll it start do acting up again.
At frame 11 the film will not advance anymore. Knob just spins.
Had to open the back to finish rolling up the film.
But before the film would not even load.

One thing I noticed was that the rolls where very tight when load?
I was shooting Macophot/Efke E6. Just load more Maco but this time B&W.
It did fell looser this time but only time will tell.
Would hate to shelf it, because it’s a beautiful little camera.

Now I just need to get the film mailed out to Film for Classic for developing next week
